Hello!
Forum newbie here (but this is my only character and main), and I am one of those carebears I see you guys openly despise on other threads, but:
1) Can individuals from starter NPC corps hire you (or some of you)? 2) What would be the cost? 3) Can I hire you to go after one particular person repeatedly? 4) What is the scope of services provided? (i.e. only go after target when he is suspect, or suicide gank, etc)?
Please forgive the noob carebear questions. |

I'm surprised you are all so pleased RvB went down. Seems to me like high sec simply lost a valuable content creator and a beloved institution that actually catered to newbros. I sure hope BRAVE takes the lot of them in. |

Seems to me like high sec simply lost a valuable content creator and a beloved institution that actually catered to newbros. I sure hope BRAVE takes the lot of them in. I am really of two minds. RvB was fun, I enjoyed it and got to do some PVP in a way that meant I got to learn from more experienced players. So in that, I am sad to see it go. On the other hand it is deeply concerning that in the end it was so fragile that it would implode in this fashion simply because (and I may be wrong but this is what it looks like) someone else decided to shoot at them and was not bad at it.
I have no doubt BAW had a major role in putting on the pressure towards implosion, but from RvB's own posts on their own forums, as well as the ones on reddit (including many from their supporters), it seems plausible their going down was the result of ongoing problems in the general state of EVE currently.
There really doesn't seem to be many places left to steer new bros that I see on the CAS channel. E-Uni and RvB was where we used to send the ones that wanted to learn PvP in a mentoring environment.

Vimsy Vortis wrote:RVB was already dead. Their uncommitted, impotent, self-aggrandizing leadership saw to that. All we did is show up and blow up their stuff. Despite overwhelming manpower their leadership wasn't able to organize and motivate a nearly 8000 man community to defend assets from and win fights against a group of twenty human beings.
If you make a huge, powerful, well funded entity, into something that can't withstand that kind of pressure then it needs to be destroyed.
Hmm. When you put it like that, I'm inclined to agree. Was not aware they were 8,000 strong, and that your well-known organization is... 20 people. Expected at least 100. Learn something new everyday
Anywho if anyone does profit from their demise, it should be you guys so happy hunting |

Saw your 1st-in-Highsec Citadel kill on reddit. Congrats to the lot of you. It was refreshing to see some eve-forum people being mentioned on reddit for once.
Was it really just 7 navy apocs and 4 logi? |
